Hello there! I think I found a way to share more pictures. Click on the link over to the right (Davidson Family Pictures) and it will take you to my share site that I just created. I don't know how I'm going to maintain all of these sites! :)
Here are a few random pictures from Christmas day!

Snow and our new little friend!

we finally got a little bit of snow!! We had some over the weekend, but it didn't really amount to much. Today it's not a ton, but it's at least enough for the boys to throw snowballs! Who knows, maybe we'll even get enough for a snowman. I finally got to see the big thick flakes. It was great!

We have "adopted" a new little family member, or maybe she has adopted us. :) She a cute little kitty cat. We've seen her hanging around since the beginning of November with no collar and what seemed to be no home. I finally took her in last week. (just in time.. it has been really cold here). We brought her in and gave her a collar. We let her out to go to the bathroom and she always is waiting by the door to run back in. One day she was out there for a couple of hours huckered down by our back door. I'm pretty sure she's accepted us as her new family. The boys LOVE her and she's really good with them. Joseph wants to name her "scratchy" but I'm not so sure about that! Joe and I decided to wait until Christmas to name her. We didn't want to get the boys hopes up that we could keep her, until we were sure she didn't have a home. I figure close to a month of her staying at our house wearing our collar will be sufficent enough! Along with her waiting by our door to get back inside. Anyway, this turned out to be a novel about our kitty! Sorry about that!!!

We are excited for Christmas. I've wrapped most of the presents and I'm done shopping! We have 2 last minute cards to get out and that's about it. Joseph is probably done with school until after the holidays! They cancelled it today and I'm sure they'll cancel it tomorrow due to ice! So we are just hanging out at home, watching the snowfall and staying warm. The only thing we are missing... MORE FAMILY!! I'm really missing everyone!

Pictures from my new Camera

Hello! Yesterday the Boys, Joe and I made Sugar Cookies. What a Christmasy thing to do on a "snowy" day (flurries, but I'll take what I can get). I was thinking about my blog as I grabbed my camera to take cutsie pictures of Joe and the boys rolling out dough on the kitchen counter. I was serioulsy upset when I realized my camera was just displaying a bright white screen! I took some pictures with my cell phone and thought about what it would be like Christmas morning or even Christmas eve without my digital camera!!

So.. today I was at Target getting some last minute Christmas shopping done.... yadda yadda yadda Joe bought me a new camera for Christmas. He insists that I wrap it up and open it on Christmas morning, but he doesn't realize that I NEED it now!!! So I made sure to open it and take tons of pictures to "test it out". I think I might wrap the empty box and put it under the tree.

Anyway, here are some pictures from my new camera!

Gingerbread House

Hello there-
just thought I'd share some pictures of our gingerbread house. As with everything artistic around the Davidson household... Joe was the main creator of the house, but we all helped decorate. :)

Also.. I lied about the Christmas cards. I can't decide which picture to use, so it very well might be one that is posted on here. :) I know you are so dissapointed, Laura... my only blog reader. ;)

Christmas at Shorty's

Today we went to Shorty's (Joe's work) to see Santa. I'm using a picture that I took today for our Christmas cards, but I didn't post it here. You'll have to wait and see. :) Jackson was scared of Santa last year, but warmed right up to him this year. He climbed right up into his lap and just fell into him. He looked so comfy, like he was snuggling a huge teddy bear. Jackson told Santa that he wants a Puppy for Christmas and Joseph told Santa that he wants Legos. I'm sure Joseph will get his wish, but not quite so sure about Jackson!

I'm almost finished Christmas shopping. Like usual I spent more than I planned on. I'm sure we'll be eating ramen for a month or so! Yikes!!!! I bought a gingerbread kit today. I've never done it before, so it should be interesting. I'll be sure to take pictures. I bought a pre made kit, so it shouldn't be too hard... right???!!

Next on my list. Put the decoration boxes in the garage. Hang one more strand (or two or three) of lights and start on the Christmas cards!

Love you all,

Mandy

Build a Bear, New Kids on the Block and more....

Last week I took the boys to build a bear at the Vancouver Mall. That is where "Fluffy" and "Roary" were born. :)They both had a lot of fun. They both named there animals on there own. Jackson kept calling his bear "ROAR!!!!" so I just added the Y at the end.

Last weekend I went to my First New Kids On the Block concert. I LOVED the New Kids back in the day. I wasn't sure what to expect though. It's been quite a while. I really enjoyed it! They put on a good show!

And Finally... Joe and I bought ourselved an early Christmas present. We are already addicted to it. We bought rock band! Here are a couple of pictures of Joe and Tony (his b/f/f) rocking out. Joe is quite the rocker. Joseph really gets into the singing. He's got some good "rocker" moves. I'll have to get some pictures of video of that soon.

I love my "boys"

I just wanted to show off my Family. This was us at our old house (which we LOVED, but were only renting temporarily) picking the last of the tomatoes, onions and peppers from our garden.

A few more pictures

Home Sweet Home!

This October we bought our first home! We're very excited. We bought a townhome here in Vancouver. We are happy to finally have a place to call our own. I plan on taking some pictures soon, but here are some of it empty. :) It has 3 floors. It's tall and skinny. It's a little over 1500 sq ft. 3 beds 2 1/2 baths. We are using the 3rd bedroom as a family room because it's on the bottom floor with a sliding glass door off of it.
